Dr. Len Schwartz- The Importance of Being a Great Listener
Hello, this is Dr. Len Schwartz with your cut to yo-yo marketing minute, where you can finally discover how to control your business growth and income and end the ups and downs of business.
Today, I want to discuss the importance of being a good listener.
People want you to assist them, solve an issue for them, help them avoid a problem, or achieve and experience a specific result.
The most common complaint about doctors, is that they don’t listen.
People know you care if you take the time to listen without interruption.
Many people make the mistake of interrupting or interjecting because they are eager to answer the question or provide a solution. (I used to do this too). While your intentions may be genuine, take the time to actively listen and let them finish, before providing any input.
This is a fantastic approach to create that bond, that connection, that trust bridge with your patients, clients, or customers in a way that makes them feel heard.
Improve your listening skills and see your connections with current patients, clients, or customers blossom. This is especially important for small business marketing.
