Dr. Len Schwartz- The Value of a Referral Loop
Hello, my name is Dr. Len, and if you agree that referrals are the best way to get new patients, clients, or customers, and you don’t have a referral loop in place, then this is for you.
Here’s what I’m talking about.
What do you have in place when a patient, client, or customer comes to your front desk or chats to someone about referring someone to you?
What kind of system do you have in place?
Is there anything you can give them?
Do you have anything that explains why you’re better/different or why they should hire you instead of someone else?
Do you have a gift certificate that you use to give to people?
Do you have a script for your front desk that says, “Bob, if I don’t hear from you or your recommendation, Joe, in the next three to five days, would it be okay if I called you to see if Joe has any questions?”
That query puts the onus on your patient, client, or customer to inform you whether or not their referral will be accepted.
