Referrals are an integral piece of any successful business. The best new patients, clients, or customers come through referrals.
I want to share with you an approach for generating referrals without ever having to ask for them. Assume you’ve had a pleasant talk or face-to-face meeting with a satisfied customer. Before letting them go, I recommend using this script.
“Hey, Bob, one last thing before I let you go, I’m really happy that you’re satisfied with what we’re doing with and for you,”. I’m curious, because many of my clients, like you, have friends and family who want the same results but don’t know where to start, what to do, or who to trust. Do you have any friends or family members who are like that?”
They already do! Your client understands what to do, where to go, and who to trust, and that person is YOU. As a result, when they give names of people they’d like to refer, you have the opportunity to take it from there. Have a wonderful day.
