There is one mistake I see lots of business owners make when they have a referral or prospect that reaches out with interest in learning more about how you can help them.
The business owner says, “Hey, whenever you want to talk, I’ll make the time. You can reach me day or night and we can hop on the phone.”
Here’s the problem.
If you’re the best of the best, the go-to recognized expert, and you understand the value of expert positioning, it’s impossible for you to have all that free time.
You’re supposed to be busy serving your patients, clients, or customers.
Offering any time of the day, whenever they’re ready to talk to you, is the opposite of what the best of the best, super busy expert would do.
Offer a time or two over the course of the next couple of days, so they understand you’re busy and you’re going to do them a favor and make time for them.
