People want to solve a problem, prevent a problem, or have you help them achieve, receive or experience a specific result.

The number one complaint people have about their doctor is that they don’t listen.

The value of being a great listener is that people know you care.

Take the time to listen and not interrupt them because you’re so anxious to answer their question or solve their problem.

I used to do this too, by the way.

This is a phenomenal way to establish that bond, connection and that bridge of trust with your patients, clients, or customers in a way where they feel like they’re heard. In their mind, that translates that you genuinely care.

Work on being a great listener and watch your relationships blossom with your existing patients, clients, or customers.
