I want to talk about a mistake that a lot of business owners make when they have a referral or a prospect that reaches out because they’re interested in learning more about how you could help them. The business owner says, “Hey, whenever you want to talk, I’ll make the time. Anytime day or night, we can hop on the phone and have a conversation.” 

Well, here’s the problem. If you’re the best of the best, if you’re the expert and you understand the value of expert positioning, you can’t possibly have all of that free time. You’re supposed to be busy serving your patients, clients, or customers.

So, offering any time of the day, whenever they’re ready to talk to you, is the opposite of what the best of the best, super busy expert would do.

Offer a time or two over the course of the next couple of days so that they understand you’re busy and you’re going to do them a favor and make time for them.
